Hundreds of ADA lawsuits are filed each month in California, in federal and state courts. Each lawsuit alleges that a serial filer (typically one confined to a wheelchair, or blind) was "deterred" from patronizing the business. Each serial filer demands $4,000 per visit, plus attorney's fees.
